The motorcycle is powered by a competent engine, features a capable chassis and delivers great off road performances.In terms of comfort, the 690 Enduro R puts ergonomy on the first place and we especially like the nonintrusive fuel tank, the low seat height and the perfect angle of the handlebars.The motorcycle is propelled by a 690 cc, water-cooled LC4 single-cylinder engine which cranks out 49 kW (67 hp). For maximum performances, the 690 cc unit is combined with an electronic engine management system which features fuel injection. KTM Teases New 1290 Naked Prototype Ahead of EICMA – Is This the New Super Duke?
Fri, 09 Nov 2012KTM has released pictures of a new 1290cc naked prototype, the so-called “Beast” whose engine roar KTM revealed earlier in the week. To be officially unveiled next week at the 2012 EICMA show, the new model is still unnamed, though judging by the brief glimpses of its styling and the KTM North American dealer meeting slide that leaked earlier this year, we’re pretty sure this new prototype will eventually become the KTM 1290 Super Duke. We’ll have more information Nov.
AMA Supercross: 2012 Los Angeles Results
Mon, 23 Jan 2012Chad Reed won his first race of the 2012 AMA Supercross season in Los Angeles but the victory was overshadowed by a first-lap collision that left Trey Canard and Ryan Morais with broken backs. Racing for Team Honda Muscle Milk, Canard was injured on the first lap after catching a piece of some signage. That forced him to single a triple jump, putting him in the path of Star Valli Yamaha rider Ryan Morais who landed on Canard from behind.
