KTM Turns up the Heat in Milan

Thu, 06 Nov 2008

After attending a large consumer show of any kind, be it car, RV, boat or motorcycle, it often feels like the entire event was a blur. EICMA 2012: KTM 690 Duke R Brings Out Your Inner Hooligan

Wed, 14 Nov 2012

The biggest news from KTM at the 2012 EICMA Show was the unveiling of the new 390 Duke and a prototype of the upcoming 1290 Super Duke R. In between these small and large naked bikes, KTM announced a new R-spec version of its middleweight 690 Duke. The 690 Duke was introduced in 2007 and received a substantial update last year with a 690cc engine claiming 67 hp, leading KTM to call it the world’s most powerful Single in a production model.

Riding round the north of Scotland

Mon, 20 Aug 2012

Starting at Helensburgh just west of Glasgow, ten of us (including ex racers Duffus, MacPherson, Morrison and Simpson,) rode 600 miles round the coast then back down to Inverness. On mostly empty but immaculate roads we lost count of the mountains, lochs and sandy beaches along the way.
