2009 WR 300 Husky. first owner bought new August. 3, 2011. I love this bike but never seem to have time to ride it. Due to faulty O-ring on top of cylinder - replaced top end. New Piston, rings, wrist pin and bearing and all new gaskets, reed valves, reed boot.($450) Just put it back together Wednesday and it purrs like a kitty. I just found out that I am losing my job and I will need money more than bike. Aftermarket radiator guards, super soft plush seat. Still has original tires. App. 350 mis on it. Barely broke in. With new top-end this thing will scream. Call or text. Clear title in hand.**first owner - 52 yr. old - bought it from LSK in Missouri on August. 3, 2011 - he put 110mis on it. KTM Ready to Race Again, Entering Moto3 Class in 2012

KTM announced it will return to Grand Prix road racing in 2012 with a new racebike for the new 250cc four-stroke Moto3 class. The Austrian manufacturer discontinued its Grand Prix road racing program in 2009, withdrawing from the 125cc class (pictured above is current Moto2 racer Marc Marquez racing for the KTM factory team in the 2009 125cc class). With the Moto3 class set to replace the 125cc class in 2012, KTM will return with a new racebike.

Spy Photos Capture Near-Production KTM 1290 Super Duke

Spy photographers have snapped shots of what appears to be a near-production prototype of the KTM 1290 Super Duke. The test mule in the pictures show some differences from the 1290 Super Duke R prototype revealed at the 2012 EICMA show. The spy pictures reveal a stacked headlight design similar to the component used on KTM‘s smaller naked models such as the 390 Duke.

James Stewart gave his 2012 AMA Supercross championship hopes a much needed boost with a big win in sloppy, muddy conditions at Daytona International Speedway. Heavy rains made the Ricky Carmichael-designed track in Daytona’s tri-oval section even more difficult than the GOAT conceived, with the terrain rough, choppy and rutted. Series point leader Ryan Villopoto became an early casualty of the track conditions, sliding outon the second corner.
