This is 2008 KTM 690 Enduro with a Supermoto set up. The bike has the following upgrades : The side stand sensor was bypassed (KTM part) The side stand is adjustable for street or dirt set up. The first, second, rd gear speed/power limiter was bypassed (KTM part) The air filter kit was installed and I have 2 air box lids : on-road with extra holes and inlet scoop was removed and off-road(stock lid) FMF slip on exhaust with on-road (open baffle) and off-road has the screed and a custom 90 tail pipe at the end to make the bike super quite. The KTM fuel map was installed.

The 2011 AMA Motocross and Supercross Champion was a favorite going into the Oct.15 Monster Energy Cup at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, Nev. Villopoto completed the hat trick by winning the Cup and the prize money.

NHTSA Launches Recall Look-up by VIN Tool

The U.S. Department of Transportation and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration have launched a new free online tool that should make it easier for consumers to inspect their vehicles’ safety recall histories. The new search tool, available at http://www.safercar.gov/vinlookup, allows people to look for recall campaigns by entering Vehicle Identification Numbers.

It’s never easy to replace someone you’ve lost, but life invariably must go on. KTM recognizes this, announcing the signing of Jordi Viladoms to its Dakar Rally factory team to take the spot of Kurt Caselli who succumbed to injuries in a crash at the SCORE Baja 1000. “We are very aware that no one is able to replace Kurt, who was a special friend and teammate, but we believe that what we need now for the team is stability,” says Alex Doringer, manager of the Red Bull KTM Rally team.
