I have a 2008 ktm 450sx-f for sale. It has 117 hours on it. Well taken care of. There is nothing wrong with the bike and when there was I never ran it till it got fixed. I just put a new battery in it and a bunch of other parts. Comes with abought $1,000 of extra parts. I will consider a trade for a truck or for a demo derby car and sum money.. Recall for 6,117 MY2011 KTM and Husaberg Off-road and Competition Models
Fri, 09 Sep 2011KTM and Husaberg are recalling about 6,117 off-road motorcycles due to a risk of cracked handlebar clamps. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the handlebar clamps on some off-road KTM and Husaberg models can develop cracks from normal use.
KTM Reports Q2 2013 Sales Results
Fri, 23 Aug 2013KTM reported sales of 52,054 motorcycles over the first six months of 2013, a 26.3% increase from the 41,202 motorcycles sold in the same period of 2012. Streetbike sales were particularly strong, with KTM selling 27,752 motorcycles, a 28.4% improvement form 21,610 motorcycles. KTM credits the increase to strong sales for the 125 Duke and 200 Duke produced with Indian partner Bajaj which accounted for 3,392 motorcycles.
Chris Fillmore Returning To KTM AMA Superbike For 2014
Mon, 09 Dec 2013KTM Motorsports and Chris Fillmore have agreed to terms that will see the former supermoto ace return to the KTM/HMC Superbike Racing team for his third consecutive season. Fillmore, who started racing with KTM on its supermoto Team in the early 2000’s, began testing the RC8 superbike in 2008. Since that time he has piloted the bike in its first-ever AMA Pro SuperBike race and gone on to run two full-time seasons in that series with a career best finish of fourth overall.
