2007 KTM 450 XC, bought from original owner. Barely ridden, original plastics, original tires. Ridden once in the last 2yrs. The rims still have the original factory decal on them along with the clutch cover telling you want kind of oil to use. Has new Pro Taper bars with triple clamp, new GPR four steering stabilizer, new Acerbis handgurds, Race Tech suspension is 2yrs old has new Race Tech springs and Race Tech shock resivor, new BRP chain Roller, Ty Davis carb mod, new Renthal sprockets, new chain, PMB spark arrestor, reusable oil filters, longer throttle cables that route in front of the number plate. KTM Issues Fuel Hose Recall on 7000 Motorcycles
Mon, 05 Nov 2012KTM is issuing a worldwide recall on approximately 7000 motorcycles from model year 2012 and 2013 for potential fuel hose leaks. The recall affects certain EXC, EXC-F, XC-F, XC-W, XCF-W, Freeride, SX-F, and Supermoto R models with electronic fuel injection. (See after the jump for specific models included in the recall.) According to KTM, a defect in the manufacturing process of the molded fuel hoses on affected models may lead to a fuel leak either at the ends or where the hoses bend.
EICMA 2012: KTM Unleashes the Beast with 1290 Super Duke R Prototype
Tue, 13 Nov 2012Last week, KTM teased its new large-displacement naked prototype, revealing a brief glimpse and an audio recording of the engine on the so-called “beast”. KTM has now revealed the beast, presenting the new 1290 Super Duke R prototype at the 2012 EICMA Show in Milan, Italy. Due to launch some time in 2013, the KTM 1290 Super Duke R will top a full line of naked Duke models which includes the 125, 200, newly revealed 390, 690 and 990.
