KTM Other description
2006 KTM 250 SXF, This orange 2006 KTM 250 SXF is a super clean bike and is very well maintained. Our Price &2,400. Please call or email us for more information. The KTM 250 SX-F is a real milestone in the company history and certainly the star of the SX models in 2006. Thanks to the innovative engine with double overhead camshafts, the redesigned chassis with forged rocker arm and many other high quality details, it will be hard going for the competitors. And in the truest sense of the word, the new 250 cc 4-stroke DOHC engine is the real heart of the KTM 250 SX. After the engine proved its power and reliability in the 2004 and 2005 World Championships, we've now let the beast off the chain and made it the series engine. Better hold on tight, this thing goes like the Devil. OEMs Plug into Electric Bikes
Sat, 01 Nov 2008KTM introduced its prototype electric motorcycle earlier this week, and electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles almost immediately responded by opening sales on its 2009 Zero X dirt bike (look for our review of the 2008 model next week!). But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.
KTM 1290 Super Duke R Prototype to be Ridden at Goodwood Festival
Wed, 26 Jun 2013When KTM revealed its 1290 Super Duke R at EICMA, it made it very clear the show bike was a prototype. An actual production version is on its way, as recent spy photos indicate, but the actual prototype displayed at Milan still maintains an aura of mystique. The specs sheet, for example, was intentionally vague.
2022 KTM 1290 Super Adventure R Review
Fri, 27 May 2022A long-legged beast Credit: Photos by Evans Brasfield What a beast, I thought to myself as I put my first few miles on the 2022 KTM 1290 Super Adventure R. In retrospect, that thought kind of made sense given the fact that the mill tucked beneath the 1290’s new tank design is an iteration of the Super Duke’s 1301cc V-Twin – the naked bike dubbed by KTM marketing folks as “the beast.” And beastly it is. Even in larger ADV garb coming in at 542 pounds dripping wet, the SA-R is still an absolute ripper of a motorcycle that is fully capable of serially killing rear tires.
