Celebrity Owned (James Gandolfini) 2002 KTM 640 Adventure Motorcycle

I recently discovered that my motorcycle's original owner was

James Gandolfini of The Sopranos

The VIN title history information that my local KTM Dealership provided me shows that the bike was purchased new and first titled by James Gandolfini with the address of

429 Greenwich St 10013 NY

Please see the following article where the address is confirmed as an address where the actor once resided.
A quote from the artlcle:
"Michael, 13, stands to inherit the bulk of Gandolfini’s estate, which will go through a trust set aside for him until he turns 21. The trust allows the younger Gandolfini a first option to purchase his father’s right, title and interest in Unit 5C at 429 Greenwich Street, which comes complete with a parking space, at the unit’s “fair market value.”"
Click Here to go to the article at TheRealDeal dot com Or just do a web search for James Gandolfini and the above address.

Please don't take my word for it - go to or call any KTM dealership and ask them to run the VIN from my bike: VBKGSL4092M754514.  It will show that this was Mr. Gandolfini's motorcycle.  It will also show that I had the front wheel replaced last spring under a warranty recall.
All the plastics, gas tank, and all major components are original equipment that came on the bike when new.

The bike has a clean NC title and about 17,000 miles on a rebuilt engine (the speedometer was replaced 14,500 miles ago) .  The engine was professionally rebuilt by ESA Cycles in Beaufort NC.  It starts on the first kick (electric and kick start) and runs great. The bike has a new CDI and high power stator.

I am currently putting about 300 miles a week on this bike as my primary transportation.  It is an awesome bike.  It can go anywhere a dirt-bike can and I have personally hit 100 MPH on the highway (speedometer tops out at 99). The bike is a dual-sport with KTM's single cylinder LC4 (liquid cooled 4 valve) engine.   Front tire and wheel are new, the sprockets were both recently changed along with the chain.

The electric starter will need to be replaced, I have been kick-starting it.
I have a new clutch cable (the current one is fine), the owners manual and shop manual, and an extra rocker arm cover (the current cover has a crack which does not leak or affect the way the bike runs, it has been JBWelded) which comes with the bike. It also comes with two new tubes for the next tire change.

Pick up only in Ranson, West Virginia.
