here is a used ktm 550mxc dirtbike monster.

its in great shape for being 20 years old and has a brand new nickasyl refinished cylinder , piston , rings , pin , pin bearing , the x has been set perfect as well as the timing.

it takes a BIG BOY KICK to start , with the new cylinder which is not even got 30 heat cycles on it yet and should be started and warmed up a dozen or so more times and then rode easy varying the speeds not winging it until some good ez miles are put on then it can help you find your god or deity as ability allows !!!

its been match ported and the top end is essentially blueprinted . 

its a monster in the power / torque department it has good smooth low end torque also .

the tires are new and sprockets chain .

should be used with high test fuel and quality synthetic oil

The ninth stage took the field to the northernmost point of this year’s Dakar. The riders descended from yesterday’s plateau through the Atacama desert towards the Pacific Ocean. Sand and dunes challenged the athletes especially in the final third of the stage, demanding excellent navigation skills.

KTM introduced its prototype electric motorcycle earlier this week, and electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles almost immediately responded by opening sales on its 2009 Zero X dirt bike (look for our review of the 2008 model next week!). But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.

Chris Fillmore Returning To KTM AMA Superbike For 2014

KTM Motorsports and Chris Fillmore have agreed to terms that will see the former supermoto ace return to the KTM/HMC Superbike Racing team for his third consecutive season. Fillmore, who started racing with KTM on its supermoto Team in the early 2000’s, began testing the RC8 superbike in 2008. Since that time he has piloted the bike in its first-ever AMA Pro SuperBike race and gone on to run two full-time seasons in that series with a career best finish of fourth overall.
