KTM MXC description

here is a used ktm 550mxc dirtbike monster.

its in great shape for being 20 years old and has a brand new nickasyl refinished cylinder , piston , rings , pin , pin bearing , the x has been set perfect as well as the timing.

it takes a BIG BOY KICK to start , with the new cylinder which is not even got 30 heat cycles on it yet and should be started and warmed up a dozen or so more times and then rode easy varying the speeds not winging it until some good ez miles are put on then it can help you find your god or deity as ability allows !!!

its been match ported and the top end is essentially blueprinted .

its a monster in the power / torque department it has good smooth low end torque also .

the tires are new and sprockets chain .

should be used with high test fuel and quality synthetic oil

i will be adding some photos in a day or 2

Having a blast on the KTM Duke 125

Fri, 30 Sep 2011

With young Taylor finally lifting my riding ban from his 125 Duke last week (I snapped the gear lever off in a failed garden stunt), I’ve been clocking up a few miles on what surely is the ‘must have’ learner bike of 2011. Last week I hopped aboard for a jaunt into the heart of Leicester where you can still park bikes for free then walk to all the major shops in minutes. I needed to appear in person at the main Post Office for an International Driving Permit as I found out without one; I couldn’t drive during my trip up coming trip to the Japanese Grand Prix.

Thumbs up for a chilly N.E.C.

Apart from the freaky weather I have to say last week’s Carole Nash Motorcycle Live N.E.C. show was the best Birmingham event I've attended in the ten years. I really appreciate the fact that manufacturers chose to ignore the recession giving us great stands to cater for every enthusiast young and old.  Aprilia made a welcome return and I don’t know anyone that didn’t enjoy admiring the WSB RSV4, surely the the most gorgeous bike on the planet? The Honda stand rarely disappoints and this year was no exception with banking bikes providing fun for all the family.

Used Review: Arai Corsair

Fri, 01 Jan 2010

The comfort of Arai’s lids in the upper range are, for me, beyond compare. I’ve spent the last two years wearing this lid, and, just my luck, I crashed the first time I wore it. Chasing a Fireblade down the Brands Hatch straight, his engine blew sending me and the RC8 I was (briefly) on, sliding across his oil towards the gravel.
