2001 KTM EXC 400 kick and electric starter attractive tires starts/runs goodI had this bike tuned-up and the carb rebuilt at Razee 3yrs ago. I rode it once and then had a son 2.5 yrs ago. It has been sitting for two years collecting dust. I started it on 12/6 for the 1st time in six months it only took three kicks. Runs/idles fine but I think the carb could be dialed in a little better by someone with the know how. Bike has a title so it can be registered if needed.Looking for quick winter sale. Having a blast on the KTM Duke 125
Fri, 30 Sep 2011With young Taylor finally lifting my riding ban from his 125 Duke last week (I snapped the gear lever off in a failed garden stunt), I’ve been clocking up a few miles on what surely is the ‘must have’ learner bike of 2011. Last week I hopped aboard for a jaunt into the heart of Leicester where you can still park bikes for free then walk to all the major shops in minutes. I needed to appear in person at the main Post Office for an International Driving Permit as I found out without one; I couldn’t drive during my trip up coming trip to the Japanese Grand Prix.
KTM Reports 2011 Results
Fri, 17 Feb 2012KTM reported a 22.4% increase in worldwide motorcycle sales in 2011, raking in a net profit of 20.7 million euros. According to KTM‘s year-end fiscal report, the Austrian company sold 81,200 units in 2011, compared to 66,327 units in 2010. KTM attributes the gains to the launch of its latest EXC off-road competition lineup and the entry-level 125 Duke.
US Motorcycle Sales First Half 2011 Results
Thu, 28 Jul 2011The U.S. motorcycle industry saw a 4.6% decrease in year-on-year sales over the first six months of 2011, thanks mostly to a 17.3% drop in ATV sales. Motorcycle and scooter sales however saw a 1.7% bump in the first half .
