2022 KTM 1290 Super Adventure R Review

Fri, 27 May 2022

A long-legged beast Credit: Photos by Evans Brasfield What a beast, I thought to myself as I put my first few miles on the 2022 KTM 1290 Super Adventure R. In retrospect, that thought kind of made sense given the fact that the mill tucked beneath the 1290’s new tank design is an iteration of the Super Duke’s 1301cc V-Twin – the naked bike dubbed by KTM marketing folks as “the beast.” And beastly it is. Rok Bagoros' stunt KTM 690 Duke

Thu, 26 Apr 2012

KTM's official stunt rider Rok Bagoros has stepped up from his 125 Duke to this factory prepared 690 Duke. However, as seen in this video, his first test on the bike hasn't been plain sailing. KTM Ready to Race Again, Entering Moto3 Class in 2012

Fri, 03 Jun 2011

KTM announced it will return to Grand Prix road racing in 2012 with a new racebike for the new 250cc four-stroke Moto3 class. The Austrian manufacturer discontinued its Grand Prix road racing program in 2009, withdrawing from the 125cc class (pictured above is current Moto2 racer Marc Marquez racing for the KTM factory team in the 2009 125cc class). With the Moto3 class set to replace the 125cc class in 2012, KTM will return with a new racebike.
