KTM Adventure description

No Reserve!! Demo model with factory warranty.

Up For auction is a new 2015 KTM 1190 Adventure.

This is a No Reserve auction. The final price of the auction is the selling price (other than state sales tax).

This is a dealer demo that has been used by the shop owner. Bike has had the first service.

KTM already set standards in the travel segment with the new 1190 Adventure in its first model year. In  2015 both 1190 Adventure color variations get a new and fresh graphic design which makes their appearance even more attractive, supporting their sporty domination of travel enduros on street. Already in 2014, the 1190 Adventure, together with its "R" sister model, has been turned into what is currently the world's safest motorcycle - yet still with undiluted riding pleasure. It was the first motorcycle, offering Bosch's new MSC (Motorcycle Stability Control). MSC enhances the existing package consisting of lean-sensitive traction control and ABS featuring a combined braking function with a world first: the first ever lean-sensitive cornering ABS. As ever, it sets standards in the travel segment: 150 hp with a weight of only 230 kg fully tanked combine to produce a power-to-weight ratio previously unheard of in this class and therefore delivering unrivalled ride dynamics. At the same time, the powerful, economical and cultivated engine enables either particularly relaxed and comfortable riding or, if required, super-sporty propulsion – with every conceivable level in between. The chassis combines lightness with outstanding geometry and fantastic suspension, which, together with completely new tires for the travel enduro class, allow undreamed of riding pleasure in all conditions and whatever speed you desire, from very relaxed to very, very fast.

At the heart of the motorcycle sits a 1195 cc, 2-cylinder, 4-stroke, spark-ignition, 75° V Arrangement, liquid-cooled engine which is kept in leash by a six speed, claw shifted transmission.

Other features that are worthy of being mentioned include Bosch’s new MSC (Motorcycle Stability Control), ABS and a State-of-the-art instrument cluster.

The engine is mounted on a tubular space frame made from chrome molybdenum steel, powder-coated forks. The ride quality is assured by front WP Suspension Up Side Down forks and a rear Shock Absorber WP Suspension Monoshock.

Retail on the bike is $16,699 + $259.00 = $16958.00 Plus sales tax.

Don't miss a great deal on a new KTM!!!

The trunk box was a warranty from another deal and we put in on this bike. It is included on the bike when it sells.

The final price is the ending price. The only thing to be added is sales tax depending on your state of residence.

This bike is listed as a No Reserve auction. No additional fees will be added.

The buyer is responsible for pick-up or shipping.

$500.00 Paypal deposit required within 24 hours of auction end.

Please call 931-796-2298 with any questions before bidding.

2014 MotoGP Qatar in Pictures

Mon, 24 Mar 2014

The opening round of the 2014 MotoGP season is complete, and if the Grand Prix of Qatar is any indication, it looks like it’ll be an interesting season. If you haven’t yet, read up on the recap for the Qatar MotoGP race for the details on what transpired at Losail International Circuit in Doha. Here then are some of the (mostly spoiler-free) photographs from the Grand Prix of Qatar, including images from the MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 classes.

The Diavel rocks!

Thu, 21 Jul 2011

The Diavel is my new bike of the year. Not being a huge Ducati fan, when I was thrown the keys of this monster at Silverstone on Tuesday I was expecting an ill handling, weighty beast that would run out of revs and scare me to death. Well I couldn’t have been more wrong as I had an absolute blast.
