Adult owned very well maintained 2014 KTM 1190R.
Touratech Expediton Skid Plate, Front Fender Riser, Quick Release Headlight Guard, Upper Crash Bars, UNI Air Filter & Pre Filter Kit, Continental Twinduro TKC80's Front and Rear (front has 1000 miles and rear has not been installed yet a new TK 80, it has a Heidenau K60 Scout on rear currently and will remain on bike.) Factory Panniers Lt side has small damage from a tip over I will post a picture. Still has about 7000 miles left on oil change. Service work done by Larson Cycle and Bak BMW KTM. I have bike for sale locally as well so may end auction if sold. Shipping I will help with loading and my location is Semi Truck friendly. |

Splashing through the summer on my RC8R
Wed, 18 Jul 2012For sure the wet summer has curtailed my intentions of using my RC8R at every opportunity. That said I've had a fair amount mixed weather track time around the UK which has helped me bond with the big KTM. I've found riding at tighter twistier tracks like Oulton and Knockhill are more satisfying as the low down grunt and quick handling means you can stay with pretty much anything.
Report: KTM Developing 375cc Twin for Bajaj
Tue, 08 May 2012Austrian manufacturer KTM is reportedly working on a new 375cc Twin-cylinder engine for Indian partner Bajaj. Bajaj owns a 47% stake in KTM and the two companies have worked together in the past for the KTM Duke 125 and Duke 200 as well as the Bajaj Pulsar 200NS (pictured above). According to India’s Business-Standard, KTM and Bajaj are collaborating on a new 375cc engine at Bajaj’s research and development facility in Akurdi, India, outside of Pune.

Fri, 10 Feb 2012Much of Europe has been absolutely hammered by ice and snow over the last couple of weeks, with some places like Rome momentarily banning motorcycles and scooters from public roads due to safety concerns. The cold snap didn’t stop the people behind the Dutch site Oliepeil.nl from having a little fun with the help of KTM. Oliepeil.nl took a KTM 500 EXC dirt bike, a 525 XC ATV and a KTM X-Bow car onto a frozen area in the Heteren region of the Netherlands for some ice riding.
