KTM Adventure tech info
KTM Adventure description
I am selling my 2013 KTM Baja 990 Adventure Baja Edition.
This bike is practically brand new. Outfitted with all the orange KTM anodized farkles. Also includes KTM tank bag, side carrier and official KTM side aluminum panniers. The bike is outfitted with tires from the original 990 models (more street friendly) but I am also including the offroad DOT tires that came with it. These tires have less than 200 miles on them. This bike was garage kept and hardly ridden. It has 900 miles on the odometer and had the first oil change service done by Commonwealth Motorcycles of Louisville where it was originally purchased. Also included is a touratech GPS mount (with key) wired to the battery for the Garmin ZUMO GPS. THERE IS NOT A SINGLE SCRATCH ON THIS BIKE, LOOKS BRAND NEW! |

Mon, 06 Sep 2010It was good to catch up with my old mate Daryl Beattie last weekend in Misano. Daryl was pushing Mick Doohan hard for the 500cc World Championship in 1995 until he high sided and broke his collar bone in Assen mid way through the year. He eventually finished runner up in the series but then some fairly big tumbles from his Lucky Strike Suzuki in 1996 brought his career to a premature end.
Day 11 Dakar 2014: Coma Wins, Extends Overall Lead
Thu, 16 Jan 2014Day 11 marked the longest stage to date of the Dakar Rally, as the competitors tackled the 605km (376 miles) special stage, covering a variety of terrain, hard ground, mountains, plus 120km (75 miles) of sand and dunes in the Copiapo area. Despite this, and a fall at the beginning of the stage, Marc Coma again demonstrated his status as boss of the Dakar 2014, by picking up his third victory of the year, further reinforcing his position at the top of the general standings. Five-time Dakar winner Cyril Depres opened the piste for 400km before dropping slightly to finish just 02:31 behind Marc Coma in first.
