    This is a great example of a road worthy daily driver that has been completely rebuilt from the ground up. every roller and needle bearing was mic'ed and ensured to be the correct size for the application.I have test ridden this bike for over 200 miles, to make sure everything works great and it does.     panhead chopper rolling chassis-big stretch 8 up-4 out-35 degree rake-5 3/8 trail(perfect) plus 12 springer-handles and drives great for a big ole chopper-new pirelli tires(less then 1000 miles) exile rear break-exile internal throttle-stainless break line-break switch-key switch-gma master cylinder-mouse trap-in the tank oil filter-house of colors red flake paint job(BEAUTIFUL)this bike gets lots of attention more then anything on the road-show winner with the right motor-trans-primary combination-this is a complete roller all you need is motor-trans-primary-mirrors-petcock and what ever your motor needs electrical wise-electrical system is complete from headlight to taillight to key switch-this is a true old school build not that jessy james crap people build today-over 11k invested in this roller I have over 10k in receipts(that come with it) and that doesnt include everything-the paint job alone cost $3650.00-the paint is beautiful pics cant do it justest-heavy flake that really really shines in the sun-the paint is in great shape-had a couple spots that I touched up with a brush but they are all hidden-chain came off and knocked couple spots on rear fender but your chain will hide them and now at least they are matching red-motor mounts-trans mounts-exhaust mounts are all touched up but they are all hidden as well-the paint is in great shape you will really see nothing when its finally together-there is no tittle to this bike(had to list as salvage but its not) this was tittled as a 49 panhead and in 49 the numbers matched the motor and not the frame and the tittle stays with my motor-this bike is a show winner with a motor trans primary combo like I had on it-over all the bike is in excellent condition-I did ride it everyday so some rusted nuts n bolts have to be expected but most will clean up very easily. this is for local pick up in the fredericksburg va area-if buyer makes arrangements to have it shipped I will haul to a local shippping company in fredericksburg for you. $1000 immediate deposit required and the rest in cash when you pick it up-if you want it shipped we will talk about the rest of the payment.

Up for consideration is an unrestored 1949 Harley Davidson FL.  Motor and transmission recently underwent a high quality rebuild, hubs and front forks rebuilt, new wiring.  20 over cylinders, original VIN numbers and matching belly numbers.  Sheet metal has old paint with just the right amount of character, original paint frame with do damage or repairs ever.  There are a few non-oem parts used on bike to include wiring, exhaust, brake light switch and inner and outer primary.  Motor is 48' FL so obviously titled as a 48', someone may have lunched the original motor and replaced it with earlier motor.

    This is an original 1949 Harley FL Panhead.  The bike was parked in 1982 and has not been run since.  It is a great piece for someone looking to restore an original Panhead. All original parts, no repop.  It's only missing a few parts like the clutch, air cleaner, brake pedal bracket, generator, relay, muffler and some hardware. The engine cases match.  No broken fins on heads or cylinders.  Correct 49 heads and cylinders with M36 linkert carb.  Front left motor mount will need a minor repair.  Very common repair.

    HARLEY DAVIDSON 1949FL PANHEAD CHOPPER/BOBBER.  This is a very nicely done 1949FL Panhead Chopper.  The motorcycle runs great.  The frame is a real Harley Davidson Bowleg Panhead Frame.  The Carburetor is a Shorty E,  S & S with a Harley Davidson Air Cleaner.  The left case has had some repair underneath and it appears to be a good job.  The belly numbers on that side are partially gone because of the repair but the first and last numbers are readable and match the right side.  The motorcycle has a 12 volt Cycle Electric Generator.  It has a suicide clutch with a Rachet Top.  The Sportster Tank is metal and looks good inside.  The springer has some pitting (see pictures) and the front brake does work.  It has an Auto Advance Distributor and comes with a stock Harley Davidson Oil Pump.  The paint is very nice and the seat is fabulous.  This motorcycle cranks, shifts and runs great.  It has some very rare steel mag wheels.  It comes with a South Carolina Title.  It has a very low reserve.  The front wheel is a 21" and the rear is a 16" wheel.  This is a very nice good running Panhead Chopper.

No more limited edition Jack Daniel's models? Indian Motorcycle is preparing to give the Pursuit the Elite treatment, adding a new limited edition version of the PowerPlus-engined tourer for 2023. The Indian Pursuit Elite will join the Challenger Elite and the Chieftain Elite in getting custom paint schemes and finishes and select upgrades.

FTR Sport replaces the FTR S Indian Motorcycle revealed a new FTR Sport model that replaces the FTR S in its 2023 lineup. The FTR Sport slots in under the FTR R Carbon but above the FTR Rally and the base FTR. The FTR Sport comes with a number plate above the headlight, a chin fairing, and a passenger seat cover.
