Indian Other description
Here is a rare opportunity to own a beautifully restored 1937 Indian Sport Scout - That's special in itself - but this is not your average Scout... This exact machine was chosen to represent the mark, and this model in particular in Jerry Hatfield and Hans Halberstand's famous book - " Indian Motorcycles". This beautiful and rare machine is featured prominently on pages 78 and 81. This gorgeous Scout was meticulously restored a few years ago and has been lovingly cared for ever since. Always stored indoors in a climate controlled shop - it has received only the finest maintenance and service. During restoration, attention was paid to even the finest info with an eye for originality. This contributes much to the collect-ability and long-term value of this noteworthy machine. The Chinese Red and Metallic Silver 2-tone paint scheme with extensive pin-striping follows the original pattern and color palette. All service and repair records have been maintained for entire duration of the current owner's stewardship of this piece of history. Recently a complete top end rebuild (back to standard bore) and restoration of the front suspension and steering bushings and bearings was performed - restoring power and crisp handling to like new levels. Though it truly a beautiful machine, it's no trailer queen. It starts easily and runs well! A strong performer. Another special feature is the era correct Corbin Double Needle Speedometer. All around a terrific looking - great running machine that would be an excellent addition to your collection! A Clear California Title with current tags is included. Have a look at the pictures and feel free to ask questions. I am selling this for a Family member - so give me a day to reply to detailed questions.

Legends Ride Stops Sturgis Traffic
Tue, 06 Aug 2013This is a small sample of the participants in Monday’s annual Legends Ride from Deadwood to Sturgis. Hundreds of bikes thundered through the Black Hills toward Sturgis on Monday afternoon, creating a cacophony not heard in these parts since, well, last year. The sixth annual Legends Ride draws thousands of riders, spectators and celebrities to the historic city of Deadwood, South Dakota each year on a charitable pilgrimage to the Buffalo Chip Campground, and organizers said Monday’s edition was likely the largest ever.
