ORIGINAL INDIAN MOTORCYCLE AS FOUND IN BARN, EXCEPT FOR WASHING OFF, ALL PARTS I HAVE TO MOTORCYCLE ARE SHOWN IN PICTURES.  ALL PARTS ARE IN VERY  GOOD CONDITION FOR AGE. TIRES ARE SIZE 28X3 AND IN  GOOD CONDITION. RIMS OR WHEEELS ARE ALSO IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. I AM MISSING FRONT FORKS AND MOST OF MOTOR YOU WILL SEE THIS IN PICTURES. I HAVE SCHEBLER CARBURETOR TO MOTORCYCLE, I HAVE TITLE TO MOTORCYCLE FROM 1945 . ONE FENDER HAS BEEN PAINTED ORANGE MANY YEARS AGO.  LOCAL PICKUP ONLY

In this piston-swinging, bigger-is-better cage match – which has become an intrastate contest of competing claims – the freshly minted 1890cc Thunder Stroke engine bested Harley-Davidson’s 1917cc Milwaukee-Eight 117 by a single foot-pound of torque. Created in 1919 by William Henderson, a man considered by many to be America’s most impressive motorcycle designer, this rare collection of original drawings depict the design of a brand known as the Ace, which later became part of the Indian Motorcycle Co.

The new program receives the support of Polaris’ financial, engineering, manufacturing and service resources to support Indian’s new 2014 lineup of the Chief Classic, Chief Vintage and Chieftain. “The Indian Motorcycle Assurance Program sets a new benchmark in the motorcycle industry for warranty coverage, service and support,” says Steve Menneto, Polaris vice president of motorcycles.
