This auction is for a 1927 Indian Motorcycle - Chief that has been built into a bobber. Front end is a 1932, motor has 1947 cases. There is no serial number on the frame, the motor has the serial number that would have gone with the original bike (1927 frame match) - I know because I have a copy of the original title. Motor and transmission have been completely rebuilt, but has never been started. Nothing is missing - bike is ready to ride! Bike has current MN title. No warranty. Upon agreement of price a lump sum of $2,000 is due via paypal. Buyer needs to arrange pick up from Mound, MN - approx. 20min outside of the Twin Cities, Minnesota. 2021 Indian Models Announced Including Roadmaster Limited and Vintage Dark Horse
Tue, 15 Sep 2020Indian announced it initial batch of 2021 models including its touring, bagger and Scout models. Along with new color options for several motorcycles, the 2021 model year includes a new Roadmaster Limited, a new Vintage Dark Horse and a restyled Roadmaster Dark Horse. Not included in the announcement were the FTR 1200 and the Chief cruiser, but we expect further news from Indian in the weeks ahead.

Mon, 24 Feb 2014Riding the wave of momentum from Indian’s long-awaited revival, for 2014, Indian Motorcycles will be the marque of the year at this year’s Vintage Motorcycle Days (VMD), held at the historic Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio, July 11-13. As this year’s celebrated marque, VMD will include special recognition, displays and race classes for historic Indian-brand motorcycles (including Indian “Motocycles” from the early days), as well as participation from the new Indian Motorcycle. VMD is open to all riders, regardless of what bike they ride.
First Polaris-era 2012 Indian Motorcycle Rolls Off Spirit Lake Assembly Line
Wed, 31 Aug 2011A new era has begun as the first Indian Motorcycle under the ownership of Polaris Industries has been produced at the company’s Spirit Lake, Iowa, factory. The landmark first Polaris-owned Indian won’t be heading right to the showroom floor however; instead, it will undergo extensive testing and evaluation by Polaris. As such, this particular Indian Chief Vintage, and the rest of the 2012 Indian line, will be fairly similar to Indian’s previous offerings, save for some minor updates to catch any issues Polaris already discovered.
