2003 Indian Chief Roadmaster, . - Today, the 2003 Indian Chief motorcycles are built upon proud heritage with four models that are bold in appearance with authentic styling details and confident in performance with its robust chassis design and muscular Powerplus 100 engine. For 2003, the flagship Indian Chief line comes with the Powerplus engine, the largest displacement engine designed and built by an American OEM motorcycle company. A key feature of the Chief line is its unmistakable, full-body profile and sculpted, full-valence fenders. For 2003 the airbox cover is now painted with an inlayed Indian logo. Completing this package is added detail to the instrument bezel for a more sophisticated look. The Indian Chief Roadmaster features a fringed dual seat, whitewall tires, chrome billet rear footpegs, fender graphics and saddlebags emblazoned with the Roadmaster logo. For long-distance comfort, the Chief Roadmaster features an integrated windshield and a chrome passenger backrest. Hero Motocorp has revealed a new 620cc streetfighter concept called the Hastur at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo in Greater Noida, near New Delhi. The Hero Hastur concept was developed with the help of Erik Buell Racing which provided its expertise in working with larger engines than Hero’s usual small-displacement motorcycles. The Hastur is powered by a parallel twin 620cc engine claiming 78.9 hp at 8000 rpm and 53.1 ft-lb.

Indian Motorcycle has filed trademark applications in multiple markets for “Scout Rogue,” suggesting a new Scout variant is in the works. The trademark was first filed April 1 with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, with subsequent filings made today with trademark offices in Australia and the European Union.
