Indian Announces ‘Honoring Heroes’ Incentive Program

Today, Indian Motorcycle announced the Honoring Heroes incentive program which supports North American military personnel. Furthering a “nearly 100 year commitment to Armed Forces,” Indian will give any active, reserve, National Guard, and retired military personnel a $1,000 incentive towards the purchase of any new Indian Chief models. Indian Motorcycle today released the schedule and additional details of one of the most highly anticipated motorcycling events in decades —the debut of the all-new 2014 Indian Chief.  Two and a half years in the making, the reveal will be a thrilling inauguration to the 73rd Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.  Today’s news follows the company’s announcement that the 2014 Chief, powered by the new Thunder Stroke 111 engine, will start at $18,999. Remember to dust your Union Jacks down if you happen to be visiting any Grand Prix this year as we have no less than seven youngsters to cheer on in the junior Moto GP classes. I don’t think we’ve ever had this many ‘yoofs’ in the GP paddock so let’s hope they can do the business and bring an end to our long drought of Grand Prix titles. And that could be soon as Scott Redding is already a hot favourite for the 2011 Moto 2 championship on his Marc VDS Suter machine.
