Indian All description
For Sale is my 1950 Indian Chief Blackhawk 80 cubic inch motorcycle. I bought this bike from the 2nd owner and he had many wonderful stories to tell about the old Indian. He acquired it in the 60's and rode it for a few years only to take it apart and leave in boxes for 40 years. It was put back together around 2008 and he still had all the original parts. I have the original steps for it, I have the original Indian saddle bags. There is also a box full of original and spare parts. The motor has been rebuilt. I have the original pistons that came out of the motor. The fenders and tank have been repainted the original Indian red. This bike has spent the last 6-7 years just going to motorcycle shows in the Midwest region. I have not tried to start the bike for awhile. I drained the gas out of it so it wouldn't get gummed up.
I'm currently judging interest in the bike and if the right price/offer is made, I will probably sell it. If you need any other pictures let me know. Ultimately, I am looking for the "right" person to buy the Indian so that I can carry on what the older gentleman who sold it to me wished for. He owned it for over 50 years, and that's rare these days. 785-633-9336 |
