Indian All description
1948 Indian Chief, 74ci. Restored 10 years ago by long time owner. Over $3000.00 spent to match and paint in original "Indian Red". As good looking a Chief as you will find anywhere. Chief starts, rides, shifts, and stops as it should. This bike has only a few hundred miles since gentleman had bike restored, rebuilt, and painted. One trip the owner took before health issues set in was a trip from Indiana (trailer) to Colorado Springs, where his daughter lives. He and his daughter then rode this Indian up Pikes Peak. This bike is ready for any show or any ride. The "Beck" tires appear to be NOS, not Cokers. I would not hesitate to use them, they are like new. A cyclelectric generator was added for reliability. This is really a nice one, ask any questions, thanks for looking. Dave L. Dayton Oh |

Indian Motorcycle has unveiled the 2022 FTR lineup
Tue, 09 Feb 2021That's right - now it's quite possible to talk about the family of "flat tracker" models, because from now on there are four models in it: FTR, FTR S, FTR R Carbon and FTR Rally. The FTR engine is unchanged, and even the 1203cc V-twin is still at 123bhp, but the engineers have tweaked the settings to make it Euro 5 compliant. Other than that, there are quite a few changes.

Yes, there are some exceptions, the BMW K1600B and the Moto Guzzi MGX-21 (with its unusual transverse V-Twin) come to mind, but aside from those outliers, baggers from all manufacturers are solidly in V-Twin land. However, with the chassis, a couple of choices exist.
Vintage Bike Stash Found in Ohio
Mon, 05 Mar 2012Brim’s Imports is a vintage motorcycle shop disguised as a used car dealership, and chances are you’ve never heard of the place or its proprietor, Tom Brim. If you’re in the market for a rare vintage motorcycle, however, it may behoove you to give Tom or his brother, Ralph, an old fashion phone call. A website does exist, brimsimport.com, but its for searching the inventory of late model car and truck parts — the cash flow supporting Tom’s motorcycle obsession.
