Wrapping up what we learned at the Fall motorcycle shows The new model announcement season is an exciting time for motorcyclists, as it’s when we get our first glance at all the latest motorcycles being released in the upcoming year. Husqvarna Announces 2013 Off-Road Lineup

Husqvarna recently marking its fifth consecutive month of sales increases in May, and the company hopes to continue that momentum with the announcement of its 2013 off-road model lineup. The BMW-owned manufacturer is starting to churn out new product after a period of reductions since being  acquired by the German company. As of May, Husqvarna had sold 4,420 motorcycles in 2012, up 43.5% from 2011.

Husqvarna Teases New Prototype for EICMA

Husqvarna has a history of unveiling surprising new concepts at EICMA, but now that the company is under the auspices of KTM Chief Executive Officer Stefan Pierer, we weren’t sure if that tradition would continue for the upcoming show in Milan. It appears we had nothing to fear, as Husqvarna announced it would unveil a new prototype at EICMA that will “offer a visual incite into the future evolution of the brand”. We’re pretty sure Husky meant “insight” there, but we’ll forgive the Swedish brand if the prototype is as impressive as advertised.
