Husqvarna TR650 Strada description
Hello,
Up for sale is a 2013 Husqvarna Strada ABS with 3600 miles. I am the one and only owner and I purchased it from Toy Tech in Pennsylvania. This bike was made when Husqvarna was owned by BMW so the engine and many of the parts are stamped BMW (from the F650 model). Anyway, the bike is in great shape and has never been dropped damaged etc. It has heated grips (oxford adventurer). It has Shinko Big Block tires (DOT approved/legal) and they are nearly new with about 300 miles on them. The bike had the engine evap canister (California smog garbage) removed. It also has a power commander 5 installed with a basic map. It runs, idles, and shifts like butter. The brakes and chain are great, the chain is a gold series DID and the oil is always synthetic Castrol 4T. Engine oil was just replaced about 3 months ago (about 300 miles). It has a clean and clear title in my hands. The bike needs nothing. I'm selling under KBB and NADA because it just sits and I'm not able to ride it as much as I would like. The bike is for sale locally and I will not ship it. Pick up only please in Baltimore County, Maryland. Email with questions. |

EICMA 2012: Introducing the Brutus, the Two-Wheeled SUV
Thu, 15 Nov 2012You’d be forgiven if you thought the motorcycle pictured here was a Husqvarna on steroids. No, despite the red and white colors and Husky’s recent reputation for showcasing surprising concept models at EICMA (such as the Mille 3 in 2010 and the Baja at this year’s show), the bike shown here is an all new model called the Brutus from a company called Over. Designed by Alessandro Tartarini, formerly Lambretta designer and son of the founder of Italian motorcycle company Italjet, the Brutus is a pre-production concept that has been described as being a two-wheeled SUV.
Official Sketches of 900cc Husqvarna Streetbike
Fri, 27 May 2011Husqvarna has released these official drawings of its upcoming streetbike. Best known for its off-road models, Husqvarna seems to be taking a page from parent company BMW in teasing its new on-road model, first by releasing details about the engine, and now with these sketches. The drawings reveal a naked road bike with a supermoto influence not too far from Husqvarna’s usual style.
Swedish solutions
Wed, 05 Dec 2012ONE question - where can we get one? The video shows Swedish army issue Husqvarna 258's (1981) fitted with 'ski-stabilisers'. The riders put their feet on the skis and slide in confidently, despite the snow and ice. Apparently these are pretty common in the Swedish military which is as good a reason as I've ever heard to do your service for King Gustaf. Check out how he opens it up at about 45 seconds in...
