Husqvarna TR 650 Terra description
- 2014 Husqvarna TR 650 Terra Enduro-Sport is a seven day a week dual purpose specialist, equipped to take you anywhere from downtown to the great wide open. The TR650 features a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder power unit with two overhead camshafts and a 652 cc engine, which was extensively modified and its performance significantly enhanced for use in these new Husqvarna models. It delivers 43 kW (58 hp) at 7,250 rpm, developing its maximum torque of 60 Nm at 5,750 rpm. To match the dynamic performance available, the brake system consists of Brembo brake discs at front and rear which offers supremely solid stopping power. Fuel tank capacity, including reserve, is 14 Liters (around 3.69 U.S. gallons) and has around 55-60 miles/gallon (depending on single vs. double riders). Its slim, wiry stature and masculine, dynamic design gives the Husqvarna TR 650 Terra a progressive, light and energetic look for asphalt-based and light terrain motorcycling fun. Great commuter and fun to ride in the mountains on the weekends. COMES WITH EXTENDED WARRANTY!!!
- Comes with original Husqvarana manual and their awesome USB flash drive with a digital copy of the manual, as well as husqvarna catalog for buying extra parts!!!
Recent inspection/vehicle service conducted: August 8th, 2016
Bought with "0" miles (brand new!) in February of 2015.
- I am also willing to throw in: a chain brush in order to clean it every week, as well as a nice "Guardian" bike cover; "Blue Ray" chain lubricant and performance coolant (the new and official performance lubricants for the Husqvarna bikes), and a scorpion highlighted bike jacket with insulated gear for the colder months of the year!!!
- The only reason I am selling at a lower place than it is valued is 1) I had to remove the passenger grab handles from the bike due to the GIVI case (which I had attached in order to travel further distances) being too big for my wife to sit on with me. We use to take it down to San Diego and Santa Barbra for some fun adventures together, but the ride was uncomfortable for her with the size of my GIVI case. So I had to take it off. I still have the GIVI case, as well as the passenger grab handles that it is attached too if you wish to take along with the bike. It is almost a $1000 case, so it would be a free case to go with the bike if you wish to have someone attach it for you, or if wish to attach it yourself. 2) I am leaving for active duty, so I cannot take it with me since it will be outside of country. Asking price $5000, negotiable.

ONE question - where can we get one? The video shows Swedish army issue Husqvarna 258's (1981) fitted with 'ski-stabilisers'. The riders put their feet on the skis and slide in confidently, despite the snow and ice. Apparently these are pretty common in the Swedish military which is as good a reason as I've ever heard to do your service for King Gustaf. Check out how he opens it up at about 45 seconds in...

Today the motorcycle press descended upon the Long Beach Convention Center to attend media day at the annual International Motorcycle Show. After feasting from a continental breakfast buffet the discerning journalists set to the task of reporting on the bounty of new model motorcycles – most of which has been previously showcased in our November EICMA reporting. If you missed anything from that show here’s a run down of what to look forward to:

This uber rare 1954 AJS E95, aka The Porcupine, may become the most expensive motorcycle in the world. World-famous auction house, Bonhams, has recently announced that it will handle auctioning of an ultra-rare 1954 AJS E95 during the Pebble Beach Car Week held annually in August at the Quail Lodge Golf Club in Carmel, Calif. Bonhams estimates that due to the rarity of the E95 (only four were completed by British brand AJS) it may see a bid as high as $750,000.
