About us: HEINEN's started in 1899 by John Heinen (yes 113+ years ago!) as a farm implement store. Slowly turning to motorsports in the late 60's as a fun way to excape farming. In the 90's, the twincities metro over took our little farm town and turned us into a large suburb just 10 miles northwest of Minneapolis. Proudly owned and operated by the great grandson of John Heinen!

Practicality meets passion with Husqvarna’s all-new TR650 Strada. The
seven-day-a-week motorcycle is capable of being both urban commuter and weekend
trekker. The asphalt-oriented Strada features a 652 cc single-cylinder DOHC
motor based on BMW’s venerable G 650 GS engine. A modified EFI system,
redesigned cams, higher compression and revised piston and cylinder head
increase the power output, allowing the TR650 to boast 58 horsepower while still
offering excellent fuel capacity of over 55 mpg.

Husqvarna‘s worldwide shipment totals were down 23% in 2011 but the numbers don’t tell the whole story for the BMW-owned brand, especially when it comes to the North American market. According to BMW’s 2011 fiscal year report, Husqvarna delivered 9,286 units in 2011, compared to 12,066 units in 2010. What those figures do not explain is BMW intentionally reduced supply to dealerships to help clear excess inventory.

In the latest demonstration of Husqvarnas dedication to growth, the iconic brand is proud to announce Steve Lawler as the new North American brand manager. Lawler, who is a long-time veteran of the motorcycle and powersports industry, is now officially on board with Husqvarna Motorcycles North America, Inc. and will be based out of the all-new facility in Murrieta, California.

Husqvarna has announced U.S. prices for its new TR650 streetbikes. The 2013 Husqvarna TR650 Terra dual-sport will be available for$6,999 while its more street-going sibling the Strada will be priced at $7,499.
