Husqvarna SM530RR description

I'm selling a mint condition Factory Husqvarna SM530RR race bike with a California license plate. The bike has 35 hours on it and has never been raced or tracked. It's been plated since new from the dealer and will always be legal. These are legendary supermotos that weigh less than 250lbs and have a massive power output.

This is a customer version of the factory race bike that won multiple supermoto world championships. Factory Arrow full titanium exhaust and skid plate, slipper clutch, tubeless 16.5" and and 17" inch wheels, short swing arm, adjustable head stock, Brembo mono-block caliper with RCS master-cylider and 310mm rotors. Titanium footpegs, electric start, Kehein 41mm Flatslide. All in perfect like new condition, other than a bit of peeling on some of the graphics. See pictures.

Too much to list, all perfectly tailored for this bike from the factory. This is not a kit bike, this is the real deal and one of three in the US with a valid California license plate. An absolute beast.

Please ask questions.
Thanks,

Movie: The John Penton Story

Wed, 06 Mar 2013

John Penton was one of the most influential figures in the development of off-road motorcycle racing in America during the 1960s and ’70s. His life’s story is triumphant and tragic. When his attempts to convince Husqvarna to produce a smaller, lighter motorcycle fell on deaf ears, Penton created his own design and commissioned KTM, a small moped and bicycle maker in Austria, to build it. The motorcycle was an instant success in off-road competition and led KTM to expand its efforts in the motorcycle realm, initially in conjunction with Penton and ultimately on its own.

2011 a Success for Husqvarna North America

Wed, 08 Feb 2012

Husqvarna‘s worldwide shipment totals were down 23% in 2011 but the numbers don’t tell the whole story for the BMW-owned brand, especially when it comes to the North American market. According to BMW’s 2011 fiscal year report, Husqvarna delivered 9,286 units in 2011, compared to 12,066 units in 2010. What those figures do not explain is BMW intentionally reduced supply to dealerships to help clear excess inventory.

McQueen’s Husky on the Auction Block

Fri, 16 Nov 2012

Thirty-two years after his death, Steve McQueen still reigns as the coolest movie star to ever ride a motorcycle. One of his preferred brands was Husqvarna (another, seen here, was Triumph) and to the delight of motorcycle enthusiasts and McQueen fans alike, one of his bikes will soon be in the hands of a new owner. This 1970 Husqvarna 400 Cross owned and ridden by Steve McQueen will be up for auction on January 10th, at Bally’s Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, by Bonhams. The motorcycle comes with an exhaustive quantity of documents supporting its provenance and authenticity.
