EICMA 2012: Husqvarna Presents Updated Baja Concept

Last January, Husqvarna unveiled a new concept model at the International Motorcycle Shows stop in New York City called the Baja. That concept was similar to the MOAB concept Husqvarna displayed at last year’s EICMA show, but with an off-road style mud guard instead of the MOAB’s street fender. This year, Husqvarna returns to the 2012 EICMA Show with an updated version of the Baja concept that looks a lot closer to being ready for production.

2013 Long Beach International Motorcycle Show Report

Today the motorcycle press descended upon the Long Beach Convention Center to attend media day at the annual International Motorcycle Show. After feasting from a continental breakfast buffet the discerning journalists set to the task of reporting on the bounty of new model motorcycles – most of which has been previously showcased in our November EICMA reporting. 40,000 bikers to descend on Garmisch-Partenkirchen

40,000 bikers are expected to head to the Bavarian town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen during the first week of July for the annual BMW Motorrad Days event and you can join them. Billed as a celebration of all things two-wheeled and BMW, the event gives you a chance to test ride all the current BMW Motorrad and Husqvarna models and see stunt-riding world champion Chris Pfeiffer and meet the BMW World Superbike riders. BMW have organised a UK rideout to the event and with over 200 places taken so far, time's running out to book your slot.
