New BMW World Superbike recruit, Marco Melandri has been using the Bavarian manufacturer's connection to Husqvarna to get himself a nice new motocross bike for the off-season. Melandri has been riding the Husky TC250 in preparation for the 2012 season, whilst the winter testing ban was in effect. Pierer Mobility Confirms a KTM E-Duke is in Development

Electric Duke joins Husqvarna E-Pilen in E-Mobility plans Pierer Mobility confirmed it is working on an electric KTM streetbike as part of its push towards electro mobility. The news comes from a presentation of preliminary revenues and earnings for the 2021 business year, confirming that an E-Duke is in development. While this is the first official confirmation of an E-Duke, its development comes as no surprise, especially after KTM’s sister brand Husqvarna revealed an E-Pilen concept last April.

Enduro Legend Juha Salminen Announces Retirement

Finnish racer Juha Salminen announced his retirement from racing at the end of the 2013 World Enduro Championship, capping off a career that included 13 world championships and a record 96 World Enduro Championship wins. Only the great Giacomo Agostini holds more individual motorcycle racing world titles than Salminen with 15. “Enduro as a sport has given me a lot, but now it is time to move on to new challenges.
