The seven-day-a-week motorcycle is capable of being both urban commuter and weekend trekker. The asphalt-oriented Strada features a 652cc single-cylinder DOHC motor based on BMW s venerable G 650 GS engine. A modified EFI system, redesigned cams, higher compression and revised piston and cylinder head increase the power output, allowing the TR650 to boast 58 horsepower while still offering excellent fuel capacity of over 55 mpg. Special Features may include: 652cc four-stroke single-cylinder engine based on the BMW G 650 GS motor. High-revving, responsive power with 58 horsepower. Five-speed gearbox with mechanical clutch. Husqvarna Names Robert Jonas Head Of Motorsport

Effective immediately, Husqvarna Motorcycles has named 39 year-old, Robert Jonas as Head of Motorsport. He will be responsible for all of Husqvarna’s racing activities, including Motocross, Enduro, Extreme Enduro, and Moto3 road racing programs. As a former motocross racer Robert Jonas has been involved in motorcycle racing for much of his life.

Husqvarna has expanded its family of “black and white arrows” with the 701 Vitpilen, which, as it turns out, is not the last in the company's line-up. The Swedish brand is also preparing to release a 125cc Vitpilen 401 model. And given that the KTM Duke range also has a 200cc variant, we can assume that the family, which has not yet entered the assembly line, will soon grow to five models.
