Husqvarna Other description

2009 Husqvarna Te 510, 2009 Husqvarna TE 510 with lots of upgrades. I had this bike outfitted for enduro riding but never used it much except for riding around the city. On the bike is Highway Dirt Bikes handguards, G2 throttle tube, ProTaper Woods High bar, Scott's Steering Stabilizer, IMS 3 gallon tank, TrailTech HID headlamp, Dynojet PowerCommander 5 with Autotune module and working 02 sensor, Shorai LiFe battery, P3 carbon fiber heat shield, Husqvarna euro silencer insert, Acerbis supermoto fender, and PivotPegs footpegs. There is no working horn, which is one reason I'm selling it cheap, but all stock parts will be shipped with the bike including the horn, headlamp, front fender, and catalytic converter. The pipe is stock, but very loud without the silencer insert. Also included with the bike is a set of Pirelli Scorpion XC tires, Kenda tubes, Tusk center stand, Husqvarna shop manual, G2 throttle cams, and Shorai battery charger. This bike is perfect for technical enduro riding where you may need to ride on the road to connect trails, or is pretty fun to ride on the city streets, but keep the front end down ) $4,500.00 4438123310

2018 Husqvarna Vitpilen & Svartpilen 401 First Ride Review

Mon, 30 Apr 2018

Fresh Swedish styling on proven Austrian performance Credit: Photos by Evans Brasfield Husqvarna, a company better known for its off-road bikes – or chainsaws, depending on who you ask – made big waves in the motorcycle world three years ago when the Austrian-owned Swedish brand announced it would enter the street bike market with concepts of its Vitpilen and Svartpilen models. Fast forward to EICMA last November, and there they were, in the flesh and on the floor – real motorcycles. 2018 Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 Editor Score: 89.75% Engine 18.5/20 Suspension/Handling 14.0/15 Transmission/Clutch 9.0/10 Brakes 9.5/10 Instruments/Controls 3.0/5 Ergonomics/Comfort 9.0/10 Appearance/Quality 8.75/10 Desirability 9.0/10 Value 9.0/10 Overall Score 89.75/100 2018 Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 Editor Score: 85.75% Engine 18.5/20 Suspension/Handling 14.0/15 Transmission/Clutch 9.0/10 Brakes 9.5/10 Instruments/Controls 3.0/5 Ergonomics/Comfort 7.0/10 Appearance/Quality 7.75/10 Desirability 8.5/10 Value 8.5/10 Overall Score 85.75/100 Admittedly, at first I was less than impressed, and after elbowing my way through the crowd to see what all the fuss was about, I was still left scratching my head, somewhat disappointed – like a kid who got Irish Spring soap and a pack of fresh tighty-whiteys for Christmas.

2013 Husqvarna CR125, WR125, WR250 and WR300 Recalled for Throttle Malfunctions

Tue, 13 Aug 2013

The Consumer Public Safety Commission announced a recall for the 2013 Husqvarna CR125, WR125, WR250 and WR300 off-road models because of a problem with the throttle cable. According to the CPSC, the throttle cables on the affected units may malfunction, causing the rider to lose control of the motorcycle’s speed, posing a crash hazard. No further details about the problem were announced by the CPSC, but a similar recall on the same models was announced for Australia in May.

Cyril Despres won his fifth career Dakar Rally while helping KTM win for the 12th consecutive time, in taking the motorcycle class in the 2013 edition of the famed off-road race. KTM was again the dominant manufacturer with the top five finishers in the motorcycle class riding motorcycles from the Austrian manufacturer. Despres finished with an overall time of 43:24:22 for the win, including a 15-minute penalty for swapping an engine after the one he was using in his KTM 450 Rallye failed.
