2019 Husqvarna Cross Country Model Lineup First Look
Tue, 19 Jun 2018There's no parental favoritism here, Husky shares its love equally amongst all its children Sometimes manufacturers like to put most of their eggs in one basket. For example: Kawasaki has an awesome motocross model lineup, but there are no real comparable 250 or 450 cross-country or trail bike models to select from. Husqvarna (and KTM for that matter) is different because the company builds bikes for not only the avid motocrosser, but for the hardcore off-roader, too.
2014 GEICO EnduroCross Series Kicks Off May 2
Tue, 01 Apr 2014Fans of EnduroCross will be excited to know the 2014 season is set to get underway on May 2. Entering its 11th season of competition, two new venues will be joining the calendar, allowing more people to witness this exciting indoor off-road racing action. If you’re not familiar with it, EnduroCross tracks incorporate various elements of extreme off road racing into a Supercross-style setting, including rocks, boulders, logs, sand, mud, a water-hole…and even a few special obstacles like giant tires thrown in! Known as the “toughest racing on two wheels,” this indoor off road racing is sometimes described as carnage on two wheels, and will certainly keep you on your feet.
2018 Husqvarna Svartpilen 701 and Vitpilen 701 Spied
Thu, 25 May 2017Credit: Photos by BMH-Images When Husqvarna introduced the production models of the Svartpilen 401 street-scrambler and Vitpilen 401 café racer last November, which are based on KTM’s 390 powertrain, we figured it was only a matter of time before we saw larger versions using Husky’s 701 engine. Husqvarna had already presented a Vitpilen 701 in concept form a year earlier, so we were not entirely shocked when we received spy photos of a near-production version (above right) alongside its sibling, a Svartpilen 701. The Vitpilen 701 being tested doesn’t stray too far from the original concept.
