Husqvarna MOTOCROSS description

THIS IS A 1972 HUSQVARNA MOTOCROSS BIKE. HERE IS WHAT I KNOW ABOUT IT. I BOUGHT IT ABOUT A YEAR AGO WITH THE INTENTIONS OF RIDING IT. I ENDED UP RIDING A DIFFERENT BIKE. SO IT IS TIME FOR THIS ONE TO GO AWAY. THE BIKE IS REALLY CLEAN . THE FRONT AND REAR TIRES BOTH APPEAR TO BE ABOUT BRAND NEW. THE SEAT DOES NOT HAVE A CUT OR TEAR IN IT . INSIDE OF THE TANK IS REAL CLEAN . THE BIKE IS A LITTLE HARD TO START , YOU HAVE TO KICK IT ABOUT 7 OR 8 TIMES BEFORE IT STARTS . THAT MAY JUST BE THE MIKUNI CARB THAT IS ON IT. ALL OF THE ONES I RODE HAD A BING WITH A TICKLER . WHEN I GOT THE BIKE , THE CLUTCH WAS DRAGGING , SO I PUT A NEW CLUTCH IN IT . THE CLUTCH IS STILL DRAGGING , I THINK I HAVE IT ADJUSTED RIGHT BUT , APPARANTLY NOT ,SO THAT IS SOMETHING THAT WILL HAVE TO BE WORKED OUT. WHEN YOU GO FROM A DEAD STOP IT BOGS DOWN , STILL THINK THAT IS THE CLUTCH ISSUE. THE ONLY OTHER THING THAT I KNOW OF IS THE RIGHT FRONT FORK LEAKS. THIS WOULD BE A GREAT WINTER PROJECT FOR SOMEONE.

SHIPPING IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER.

THERE IS NO WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED . THIS MOTORCYCLE DOES NOT HAVE A TITLE .WITH EBAYS AUCTION FORM THEY DO NOT HAVE ASPOT FOR NO TITLE.

A DEPOSIT OF $200.00 IS DUE WITHIN 24 HOURS FROM END OF AUCTION VIA PAYPAL. I WILL ACCEPT PAYPAL FOR THE DEPOSIT ONLY.

Husqvarna has introduced an updated line of enduro

Sun, 01 May 2022

Changes have affected the entire range of Husqvarna enduro bikes, consisting of seven models: three two-stroke and four four-stroke, respectively. All these changes were aimed at making motorcycles even faster, more controllable and more predictable. They didn’t touch the “iron” of the engines - why, if everything is already so close to ideal.

2018 Husqvarna Svartpilen 701 and Vitpilen 701 Spied

Thu, 25 May 2017

Credit: Photos by BMH-Images When Husqvarna introduced the production models of the Svartpilen 401 street-scrambler and Vitpilen 401 café racer last November, which are based on KTM’s 390 powertrain, we figured it was only a matter of time before we saw larger versions using Husky’s 701 engine. Husqvarna had already presented a Vitpilen 701 in concept form a year earlier, so we were not entirely shocked when we received spy photos of a near-production version (above right) alongside its sibling, a Svartpilen 701. The Vitpilen 701 being tested doesn’t stray too far from the original concept.

New 2014 Husqvarna Models – Get Your Two-Strokes Here!

Tue, 08 Oct 2013

To celebrate its 110th birthday this year, Husqvarna is offering no less than ten different North American models including two-strokes and four-strokes and sizes ranging from 85cc to 501cc. Several of Husqvarna’s innovations can be found on the 2014 machines – most notably the polyamide rear subframe. Housing the airbox and electronics of each model, the high-tech composite construction of the polyamide subframe is designed to offer optimum rigidity while also allowing more flex than a traditional aluminum structure (polyamide will bend back into place unlike aluminum). The innovative subframe is applied to every new Husqvarna – even the TCs which marks the first time a composite rear subframe has been offered on a production two-stroke motocrosser.  Each model in the 2014 line also utilizes WP front suspension mounted by Husqvarna’s distinctive CNC-machined black triple clamps.
