Husqvarna Husqvarna TE 250 description

Relisted due to another deadbeat ebay bidder. I did want everyone to note that ebay did get to keep their 20 dollar listing fee even though their registered bidder didn't pay, nor even respond.  So, here we go, round 2.  I left all the notes from the previous auction as well.

Selling my 2005 Husqvarna TE 250 4 stroke.  Bike is in great shape and was lady trail ridden in Colorado for just under 700 miles total.  This bike was never raced.    I wouldn't be selling , but I just don't have a use for it.   I haven't had time to take it out in 5 years other than a test ride around the neighborhood from time to time.  It has new wheel bearings front and rear and has had a valve adjustment service that has maybe an hour of ride time since it was performed. The carb could use a cleaning as it has been sitting for too long, or it just needs to be ridden.   You need to raise idle a bit to keep it running, but it runs great once you put the gas to it.  Just put a new battery in it.  Not much more to tell as the bike is mostly stock except for the levers which are AVS  and the bars which are Scott.   Front and rear drilled rotors, excel rims, marzocchi forks, sachs rear shock.  Plastic is in very nice shape.  Tires still have a bunch of tread on them.
The actual mileage on the bike was 683 when the cheap battery powered odometer died and I threw it across the garage (5 years ago).  Since then I have put maybe a mile or two on it as I can't ride very long before the cops get called.  Comes with original Manuf. Cert of origin as it has never been titled and original owners manual.  Thanks for looking and feel free to message me with any questions you may have.   Shipping is no problem and I know forward air is a great way to send a bike for cheap. Call them for a shipping quote .  I can drop it off at their kansas city terminal. If you would want the stand, let me know and I will throw it in as I have no use for it.  I do not care to ship this overseas so please do not bid if you don't live in the states.

UPDATE:  I just took it for a spin(Sunday Sept. 25) after shooting some berryman's in the carb and now it idles fine and still runs great after running it about 30min.  That is the most I have run it in a very long time.  It really runs smooth, has a bunch of torque and the exhaust is really throaty.  It was a little finicky to start , but I think that gas is a bit old.

On Sep-26-16 at 23:17:12 PDT, seller added the following information:

Have had some questions about overall condition and appearance so I will address here.   I would rate it an 8.5 or 9 out of 10.  I wouldn't say it looks brand new, but not too far from it, it presents very well.  This bike is not torn up.   It was lightly ridden on smooth trails.  I also forgot to mention that the oil, filter and fork oil all have been changed and have less than 5 hours ride time on them.  The air filter was replaced at that time as well . Besides the owners manuals, certificate of origin and stand,   I am throwing in another oil filter and air cleaner I found for the bike as I always buy 2 of everything when it comes to maintenance stuff.

Wrapping up what we learned at the Fall motorcycle shows The new model announcement season is an exciting time for motorcyclists, as it’s when we get our first glance at all the latest motorcycles being released in the upcoming year. While AIMExpo, with its extremely early event date (starting on September 22nd), was short on new models, EICMA blew the doors off of 2018 with no less than 37 different new bikes that we covered here on MO. 2017 AIMExpo Show Coverage 2017 EICMA Show Coverage On our side of the ocean, the Progressive International Motorcycle Show (IMS) included, as usual, Long Beach, California, giving the American motorcycle industry and public its first chance to see, throw a leg over, and, in some cases, take a test ride on one of the new models.

2020 Husqvarna FE 350s Review

A seriously competent street-legal dirtbike Tractoring up the single-track ascent, switchback after switchback with relative ease, a few thoughts ran through my head. One, this thing’s street-legal. Two, it’s kicking ass on this trail.

Day 1 Dakar 2014: Barreda Draws First Blood

Mon, 06 Jan 2014

Team HRC’s Joan Barreda on the Honda CRF450 Rally, got off to a storming start in day one of the 2014 Dakar rally, clocking up the fastest time of all the 175 riders at the first time-check. The former Husqvarna rider who moved to Honda in the middle of the season inaugurated his 2014 Dakar with an acrobatic performance. The motorcycle competition was expected to be wide open, and that is indeed what the classification shows after the opening stage. It was a very early start for the Rally Dakar. The pack of riders headed off at four in the morning on a long 251 miles that took them towards the vibrant city of Rosario for the start of the 112 mile special.
