1978 Yamaha XS (1978)
This is a custom 1978 Yamaha XS650. The bike started out as a stock bike in great shape and was taken apart, chopped and a TC Brothers hard tail was installed. The frame, motor, and sheet metal is all done in metallic blue powder coat. The rims were blasted and powder coated black then new bearings were installed and Firestone Deluxe tires. The electrical system was updated with a new regulator rectifier which was mounted in a fake oil tank with a sealed battery and all other electrical parts. All wiring is made of modern cloth coated wire which has silicon heat shielding and was hidden in copper pipe. The exhaust was custom made with solid brass tips which match the grips and pegs. All starter parts were removed from the motor in an effort to reduce weight and the bike is kick start only. The forks and triple trees were shaved and polished as were the brake calipers. The rear master cylinder is made of glass, brass and billet aluminum and the gas cap is also made of brass. The seat is custom hand tooled leather. Lots of custom parts on this bike. I made the bike in 2012 so it has four year of wear on it, see pictures. The battery was just replaced in the bike. Sold as is and buyer is responsible for pickup. $200 deposit due via PayPal within 48 hours of winning bid and remaining balance due via certified check or money order within 7 days of purchase.2016-11-14 04:45:55San Benito, Texas, United States162200

1972 Yamaha XS650 XS 650 (1972)
Back for auction again after not reaching the reserve, new reserve. I have gone completely through this bike to ensure that the timing is right and the carbs have been redone, basically I've ensured that all the little things that make a bike like this sit are now operable. I have the original air box, guages and bars for those who wish to restore. The brakes are in good shape and the bike runs very well. I also have a new interstate battery that was put bought in August. The only thing that is eluding my repair is the flasher relay, I replaced it and the blinkers light up just won't flash.2013-10-20 00:03:26Dallas, Texas, US13,7502,795.00

'79 XS750 Special (1979)
XS750SF From the pictures you can see she's in nice shape. The tank has some scratches but other than that there isn't much to tinker with. I'll be honest, I don't really want to sell her but I cant ride 4 bikes at once. down side, she needs a front tire. up side, I just put in a new AGM battery, rebuilt the pet cocks and the carbs then spent 3 hundred bucks having them professionally, checked and sync'd. The forks were rebuilt in 09. She is completely stock with the exception of the highway bars (they are Yamaha bars though) and the seat. The seat pan is original but the previous owner, Andy, had it redone. I have had her since 08 and she has been garage kept during that time, as far as I know, she always has been.2013-09-03 10:54:58Haslet, Texas, US24,4771,750.00

2024 Husqvarna Svartpilen & Vitpilen 401 Review – First Ride
Fri, 27 Sep 2024Bolstering the quiver Photos by Kevin Wing The Vitpilen and Svartpilen lineup has seen a bit of a tumultuous timeline at Husqvarna – at least the bigger variants have. The 401 models originally teased at EICMA in 2014 have been going strong since the production models hit dealers back in 2018, and perhaps it has its orange sibling, the 390 Duke to thank for that. As the 390 Duke received a substantial update, it was only logical that the 401 ’Pilens would follow, and they have, receiving a new engine, chassis, and more for 2024.

2024 Husqvarna Svartpilen 801 Review – First Ride
Tue, 25 Jun 2024The Svart has Twins Photos by: Marco Campelli and Sebas Romero When attempting to check my bag at LAX, the attendant told me that my flight to France was canceled. I asked if he was sure since the app was still showing the flight was on time. Rather than ducking back behind the computer, he grabbed what had to have been a 12-foot long ream of paper full of flight schedules all plastered with the word Canceled.
2023 Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition Review - First Ride
Thu, 23 Mar 2023The Norden that didnt skip leg day Credit: Photos by Marco Campelli and Sebas Romero For miles, we rode into a dense cloud of ruddy South African dust. Those dusty roads connected rocky trails and choice stretches of pavement like the famed Franschhoek pass which, on a Saturday, was reminiscent of California’s own Angeles Crest Highway. We watched eclectic groups of open topped roadsters interspersed with an equally varied slew of two-wheelers strafe from apex to apex while we made photo passes.

Mon, 23 Jan 2023Upgraded Norden variant expected Feb. 1 Photos by Rudi Schedl When the Husqvarna Norden 901 entered the market for 2022, one of the first things we asked was when we would see a more adventure-focused version. That is, after all, the modus operandi for Husqvarna’s sister brand, KTM, which gave the 890 Adventure an upscaled R version.

Husqvarna has introduced an updated line of enduro
Sun, 01 May 2022Changes have affected the entire range of Husqvarna enduro bikes, consisting of seven models: three two-stroke and four four-stroke, respectively. All these changes were aimed at making motorcycles even faster, more controllable and more predictable. They didn’t touch the “iron” of the engines - why, if everything is already so close to ideal.
Pierer Mobility Confirms a KTM E-Duke is in Development
Mon, 07 Feb 2022Electric Duke joins Husqvarna E-Pilen in E-Mobility plans Pierer Mobility confirmed it is working on an electric KTM streetbike as part of its push towards electro mobility. The news comes from a presentation of preliminary revenues and earnings for the 2021 business year, confirming that an E-Duke is in development. While this is the first official confirmation of an E-Duke, its development comes as no surprise, especially after KTM’s sister brand Husqvarna revealed an E-Pilen concept last April.
