THIS BIKE BELONGED TO CRAIG COMONTOFSKI FOUNDER OF THE HUSKYCLUB IN THE USA..
THIS BIKE HAS MANY NOS PARTS ALONG WITH PRECISION PAINTED, PLATED,POLISHED PARTS TO MAKE THIS AN ABSOLUTE BEAUTIFUL RESTORATION..
THE ENGINE IS TOTALLY GONE THROUGH AND IS AS BEAUTIFUL INSIDE AS THE OUTSIDE OF THE BIKE.. THE ENGINE FOR THE COMPETITION/SHOWS CRAIG ENTERED IN HAD TO RUN. NO FUEL WAS PUT INSIDE THE GASTANK JUST ADDED TO THE BING SIDEFLOAT CARB TO RUN IT.. FUEL SYSTEM WAS CLEANED AFTER EVERY EVENT..

The Svartpilen 701, powered by KTM’s 690-Duke thumper, will look very close to this, we imagine – but with fenders and street equipment. This supermoto-styled version will undoubtedly be accompanied by a more dirt-worthy adventure-touring model. All these changes were aimed at making motorcycles even faster, more controllable and more predictable. They didn’t touch the “iron” of the engines - why, if everything is already so close to ideal.
