RARE Vintage 1976 Husqvarna 175 Cross Country motorcycle. Purchased from original owner in Michigan. Completely original except for new Dunlop tires, skid plate, one over MAHLE Piston (for maintenance), Works Performance Shocks, rebuilt front forks and carburetor, new plastics and Renthal vintage handlebars. Has factory silencer and spark arrester. Original owner's manual, lighting kit and all original parts that were replaced are included. Starts and runs excellent. Briefly used in vintage racing, but could easily be transitioned to a show bike. Has California Title and Green Sticker. $500.00 deposit due via PayPal at close of auction. Balance due in cash at time of pickup/transport. Buyer is responsible for pickup/shipping arrangements and costs. The acquisition will proceed subject to approval by anti-trust authorities.
1954 AJS E95 May Fetch Upwards of $750K in August Pebble Beach Auction
Wed, 18 May 2011This uber rare 1954 AJS E95, aka The Porcupine, may become the most expensive motorcycle in the world. World-famous auction house, Bonhams, has recently announced that it will handle auctioning of an ultra-rare 1954 AJS E95 during the Pebble Beach Car Week held annually in August at the Quail Lodge Golf Club in Carmel, Calif. Bonhams estimates that due to the rarity of the E95 (only four were completed by British brand AJS) it may see a bid as high as $750,000.
