Husaberg All description

This is the backing plate assembly (Clamp, Cylinder, Pin and O ring) for the clutch lever and master cylinder for a Husaberg 2009-2014 FE 390, 450 or 570. It is an OEM KTM part, so fits most KTM bikes. Originally manufactured by Megura. If your bike has a Brembo system, this will not fit. Part number is 8301005000. In the parts diagram above, it is part number 39. It is new, unused and still in the packet.

1,228 KTM and Husaberg Motorcycles Recalled

KTM and subsidiary Husaberg have initiated a recall campaign for certain 2010 and 2011 models due to a problem with their handlebar clamps. The recall campaign includes the 2011 KTM 450 EXC, KTM 530 EXC, Husaberg FE 570S, Husaberg FS 570 and the 2010-2011 KTM 690 Enduro R. The recall affects 1,228 units.

Recall for 6,117 MY2011 KTM and Husaberg Off-road and Competition Models

KTM and Husaberg are recalling about 6,117 off-road motorcycles due to a risk of cracked handlebar clamps. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the handlebar clamps on some off-road KTM and Husaberg models can develop cracks from normal use.

The U.S. motorcycle industry saw a 4.6% decrease in year-on-year sales over the first six months of 2011, thanks mostly to a 17.3% drop in ATV sales. Motorcycle and scooter sales however saw a 1.7% bump in the first half .
