THIS IS A LISTING FOR AN ALL BALLS REAR SHOCK SEAL HEAD KIT TO FIT THE BIKE LISTED IN THE ITEM TITLE ALL REAR SHOCK SEAL KITS ARE COMPLETE ASSEMBLIES, READY TO INSTALL INTO THE SHOCK BODY. NO LONGER IS IT NECESSARY TO REPLACE BUSHINGS,SEALS, O-RINGS ETC. INCLUDES ALUMINIUM BODY, DUST SEAL, BUSHING, OIL SEAL ,O-RING, INTERNAL GUIDE BUSHING / WATER, SNAP RING AND TOP OUT BUMPER. ALL SEAL HEADS ARE MADE FROM 60661-T6 ALUMINIUM. THIS IS AWEIGHT REDUCTION OVER EARLIER OEM SEAL HEADS ALL REAR SHOCK SEAL KITS HAVE AN AIR BLEED HOLE. THIS HELPSREMOVE AIR FROM THE OIL SEAL RESERVOIR DURING SEAL HEAD INSTALLATION OIL SEAL UTILIZES A DOUBLE LIP DESIGN AND A LOW FRICTION ELASTOMER. THIS GIVES THE SEAL HEAD ADDITIONAL DIRT EXCLUSION AND YET MAINTAINS A LOW DRAG (LOW FRICTION) SEAL. THE DUST SEAL UTILIZES A SPRING TYPE EXCLUSION SEAL TO MAINTAIN CONSTANT PRESSURE AND ASSURE GOOD DIRT AND CONTAMINANT EXCLUSION OVER THE LIFE OF THE SEAL HEAD. 2014 Husaberg Lineup Announced – Final Edition Before Husqvarna Merger
Thu, 23 May 2013Husaberg may soon be no more, but that hasn’t stopped the Austria-based Swedish brand from unveiling its 2014 lineup of seven models. News broke last week of plans to reunite Husaberg with Husqvarna, to be known as Husqvarna Sportmotorcycle GmbH as of October 2013, making lineup of of seven off-road bikes including both two- and four-stroke models the final traces of the Husaberg as an independent brand. These 2014 models will also give us some indication of what to expect from the new Husqvarna models.
Recall for 6,117 MY2011 KTM and Husaberg Off-road and Competition Models
Fri, 09 Sep 2011KTM and Husaberg are recalling about 6,117 off-road motorcycles due to a risk of cracked handlebar clamps. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the handlebar clamps on some off-road KTM and Husaberg models can develop cracks from normal use.
1,228 KTM and Husaberg Motorcycles Recalled
Mon, 06 Jun 2011KTM and subsidiary Husaberg have initiated a recall campaign for certain 2010 and 2011 models due to a problem with their handlebar clamps. The recall campaign includes the 2011 KTM 450 EXC, KTM 530 EXC, Husaberg FE 570S, Husaberg FS 570 and the 2010-2011 KTM 690 Enduro R. The recall affects 1,228 units.
