Ok guys and gals the day has come to let my CR500 go, I will do my best to describe everything done but there is so much I will probably leave some things out. Frame/Suspension: Initially started life as a 2001 CR250, was cut and fitted with the 500 motor. The engine has been completely rebuilt, new Wiseco crankshaft, new Wiseco Piston, new crank bearings, all new gaskets and seals, and new waterpump bearing and seals, I have all the Receipts. This is a great running bike strong smooth power brand new tires brand new radiators. I raced this bike a few times and it can run up front if that's what you want it for or it is smooth enough to just ride around. 2014 Husaberg Lineup Announced – Final Edition Before Husqvarna Merger
Thu, 23 May 2013Husaberg may soon be no more, but that hasn’t stopped the Austria-based Swedish brand from unveiling its 2014 lineup of seven models. News broke last week of plans to reunite Husaberg with Husqvarna, to be known as Husqvarna Sportmotorcycle GmbH as of October 2013, making lineup of of seven off-road bikes including both two- and four-stroke models the final traces of the Husaberg as an independent brand. These 2014 models will also give us some indication of what to expect from the new Husqvarna models.

Pierer Industries AG is owned by Stefan Pierer, who happens to be chief executive officer of KTM, which also happens to be the parent company of Husaberg. That’s three European motorcycle manufacturers with strong off-road lineages in the same family.

Wed, 08 Aug 2012Husaberg announced its 2013 lineup of off-road models including both two-stroke and four-stroke models. Internationally, Husaberg will offer four FE four-stroke models and three TE two-stroke models but the U.S. market will only be offered three FE and two TE models.
Recall for 6,117 MY2011 KTM and Husaberg Off-road and Competition Models
Fri, 09 Sep 2011KTM and Husaberg are recalling about 6,117 off-road motorcycles due to a risk of cracked handlebar clamps. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the handlebar clamps on some off-road KTM and Husaberg models can develop cracks from normal use.

1,228 KTM and Husaberg Motorcycles Recalled
Mon, 06 Jun 2011KTM and subsidiary Husaberg have initiated a recall campaign for certain 2010 and 2011 models due to a problem with their handlebar clamps. The recall campaign includes the 2011 KTM 450 EXC, KTM 530 EXC, Husaberg FE 570S, Husaberg FS 570 and the 2010-2011 KTM 690 Enduro R. The recall affects 1,228 units.
