You are bidding on a Husaberg 501 1995 model. This bike runs strong! it has tons of torque. I inherited the bike from a friend that rode it very little. It has electric start but currently does not work, he told me that he has the wiring harness disconnected at the handle bars. I know this bike it pretty rare, I have considered just parting it out, but I find it hard to do with such a good running bike

Recall for 6,117 MY2011 KTM and Husaberg Off-road and Competition Models
Fri, 09 Sep 2011KTM and Husaberg are recalling about 6,117 off-road motorcycles due to a risk of cracked handlebar clamps. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the handlebar clamps on some off-road KTM and Husaberg models can develop cracks from normal use.
2014 Husaberg Lineup Announced – Final Edition Before Husqvarna Merger
Thu, 23 May 2013Husaberg may soon be no more, but that hasn’t stopped the Austria-based Swedish brand from unveiling its 2014 lineup of seven models. News broke last week of plans to reunite Husaberg with Husqvarna, to be known as Husqvarna Sportmotorcycle GmbH as of October 2013, making lineup of of seven off-road bikes including both two- and four-stroke models the final traces of the Husaberg as an independent brand. These 2014 models will also give us some indication of what to expect from the new Husqvarna models.
2013 Husaberg Lineup Announced – Video
Wed, 08 Aug 2012Husaberg announced its 2013 lineup of off-road models including both two-stroke and four-stroke models. Internationally, Husaberg will offer four FE four-stroke models and three TE two-stroke models but the U.S. market will only be offered three FE and two TE models.
