Honda cx500 description

Here it is, that original, low mileage Honda CX500 Deluxe you have been looking for. I am helping my father-in-law sell this, as he is not experienced at eBay selling. This bike is complete, with all the stock parts, (ie: seat, tank, side panels, exhaust, gauges, bars, levers, etc., and runs great. There are no dents nor dings in the tank and fenders. This has been sitting for a while, and has only been ridden occasionally to keep the battery charged and the fuel system clean. Yes, the bike only has 25,2xx gentle miles, as it is owned by a senior rider. This was his spare bike, he also had a BMW and a heavy cruiser, until recently (he stopped riding).  This bike only has a few small known issues... one of the turn indicator bulbs (actually running light) is out, and the speedo works intermittantly. I did the simple math... this bike has only been ridden 681 miles a year. This bike has the original paint, chrome and seat, and has always been garaged.

Bike has clear (clean) Calif title, and is currently registered non-op, and is located in Los Altos, CA

This would be a great bike for someone looking for an affordable bike that is actually going up in value... owners are actually paying $1500 for a kit to upgrade these cool bikes into "cafe racers", they are so popular. Cult bike, or ? This bike is a reasonably priced, low mileage, stock motorcycle, so please no ridiculous lowball offers. This is also being offered locally, so is subject to prior sale.

This is a cash deal, and a $500 non- refundable PayPal deposit must be received within 24 hours of auction end. Final payment can be by cash or PayPal, but must be received within 5 days of auction end. Bike must be picked up within 5 days of auction end. Shipping (if desired) is the responsability of the buyer... buyer and shipper assumes all risks.

2012 Honda CBR1000RR Leaked

Thu, 18 Aug 2011

Pictures of the 2012 Honda CBR1000RR have leaked from a distributor in Hong Kong, revealing some updates including a Showa Big Piston Fork, updated display and styling facelifts. The photos show the new Honda Fireblade (as it’s known in other markets) in HRC tri-color trim which, judging from color options offered on other recent Honda models, won’t be available in the U.S. 2012 also marks the 20th year of the RR so an special anniversary paint scheme might be offered.

1954 AJS E95 May Fetch Upwards of $750K in August Pebble Beach Auction

Wed, 18 May 2011

This uber rare 1954 AJS E95, aka The Porcupine, may become the most expensive motorcycle in the world. World-famous auction house, Bonhams, has recently announced that it will handle auctioning of an ultra-rare 1954 AJS E95 during the Pebble Beach Car Week held annually in August at the Quail Lodge Golf Club in Carmel, Calif. Bonhams estimates that due to the rarity of the E95 (only four were completed by British brand AJS) it may see a bid as high as $750,000.
