Honda cm450C description

Feel free to contact me for more information at 201-410-2646. My name is Andrew.

1982 Honda cm450
2504 miles
excellent condition/museum grade condition

Rear rack and small carrier trunk
Shorty engine case guards with highway pegs not currently on bike
6 speed, which is interesting as this came out around the fuel crisis time, so 6th gear shows as OD - overdrive in the instruments
Original tires with almost no cracking

This bike was purchased by a local fireman who kept it in his climate controlled furniture shop behind his house, with the claim that it was never in the rain or even washed.
When I purchased it, it was covered in saw dust about a 1/2 inch thick which blew off easily. Underneath was a near perfect bike (I say "near perfect" because he mounted a figure on the front fender which you can see in the photos). (OEM fenders, new, are out there for around $45)

The bike starts and runs fine, but I would do a carb service if I was going to drive it. But this bike has been in my office from almost the first day I bought it, as it is close to a museum piece. A part of me hopes that whoever buys it just collects it as it looks as though it was never driven.
