Honda XR description

Here we have a one off custom built RM/XR EVO, Almost vintage, post vintage motocross racer. My Son raced this bike one time 135lb rider. He won the EVO 250 intermediate class! It was two 7minute moto's.This bike has been built from the ground up. The chassis is a 1979 RM 100, the motor is a 185 xr motor. The motor is basically new. The head has been fitted with bigger valves and springs ported and polished. The piston is a new Wiseco racing piston 13:00:1 race gas only. It has a Web Racing Cam 232/172 grind part# 55-721. The crank work was done by Powerol new bearings seals. It has the six speed close ratio trans mission gears. bearings seals. The frame is powder coated black professionally done mounts and foot peg mounts. It has a new seat cover and the tank has been covered with vinyl very nice looking all new. New sprockets rear Sprocket Specialist 451Z-54 front Sunstar 14. New tires rear Michelin S12 120/90 '18 and the front is a new M101 '21 Bridgestone. AVS levers, new motion pro clutch cable. All new Plastic fenders and side panels. It has a custom made two piece exhaust reveres mega phone with built in silencer very nicely done. Custom made exhaust and intake manifolds. Kicker modified to work with new frame. It has new brake shoes Barns clutch plates springs. New timing chain....exc...exc This bike is basically new!! The motor has about 30 minutes on it and a fresh oil change (break in). Need more room for new projects. I have put well over 4k in this bike. In today's economy I can get half what I put in but that's the way it is all to often. It handled very well, great set up for smaller rider 150-175 lbs New fork seals. This little thumper will flat out throw some roost. Buyer is responsible for ALL S&H and transportation costs and arrangements. Casey Stoner made a surprise return to MotoGP recently, participating in a two-day test with former employer, Honda. Check out the video below to see the former champ in action. The test took place at the Honda-owned Motegi circuit, where Stoner rode the 2013 model in the morning session before switching to 2014 machinery — the same spec bikes Dani Pedrosa and Marc Marquez currently pilot — in the afternoon.  Unfortunately, the Australian only managed six laps during the first day of testing due to rain, but completed 47 laps the following day when conditions were much better.
