Honda XR description

A comprehensive XR100 package that includes a spare set of XR80 wheels as well as a Baja Designs headlight kit.

- The bike has been hardly ridden, I bought it for for my oldest son when he was growing up but he never got into it.
- If you look at the pictures, you'll notice something unusual: headlights, that's right. I had the stator sent to Baja Designs and got it rewound, then we added a Baja Designs dual halogen headlight. This is really useful for lighting the way when you're trying get home and the sun's getting away from you. If you're not familiar with Baja Designs, check out their website, they provide lights for most of the Baja 1000 racers as well as the US military, it's not cheap.
- Additionally, as shown in the pics the bike comes with a spare set of XR80 wheels and tires, I bought the smaller wheels so my son could reach the seat and get used to the bike, and then when he grew I'd pop the XR100 wheels on, essentially future proofing the bike. The bike has always had the XK80 wheels on it, the XR100 wheels and tires are unridden.

The bike is an '01, I am the original owner with all the receipts and paperwork.
I'm selling because the bike has been sitting collecting dust and a couple of weeks ago my youngest son told me he wasn't interested in riding.
Before the bike changes hands, I'm going to have Honda check the bike from top to bottom.

The bike has no odometer but ebay requires a mileage so I put in 100 as an estimate. Likewise, ebay requires a title status, this is an off road vehicle and came from the dealership without a title.

I'd prefer a local sale. Shipping is at buyer's expense, but I can assist in crating.

Honda Zoomer X Prototype – New Ruckus Concept Revealed in Thailand

Wed, 28 Mar 2012

Honda Thailand unveiled a new prototype at the 2012 Bangkok International Motor Show showcasing the next generation of the Ruckus scooter. Known as the Zoomer in other markets, the Honda Ruckus is probably best known for its non-traditional scooter styling, with the usual tiny tires and wasp-like body replaced by a fat rubbers and exposed tube frame. The Honda Zoomer X maintains the original’s rugged-looking tires but instead of the exposed tubes, the Zoomer X has a boxy-looking structure, though like the original the space under the seat is exposed to the elements, so if you want to store something there you might have to break out the bungee cords.

WSBK 2013: Portimao Race Report

Mon, 10 Jun 2013

Marco Melandri and Eugene Laverty split a pair of victories at Portugal’s Portimao circuit while Sylvain Guintoli took advantage of some misfortune to his championship rivals to increase his lead in the 2013 World Superbike Championship standings. Guintoli has been leading or sharing the lead in the championship since winning the first race of Round 1 in Australia, but amazingly continues to lead despite having just that single victory after six rounds. The Aprilia rider has accomplished this through his consistency (Guintoli leads all racers with nine podium finishes in 12 races) and ability to finish each race (he’s the only rider in the top seven without a DNF).
