I HAVE A 2000 HONDA XR 100 R IN EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION, NEVER BEEN IN THE DIRT, AND STILL HAS ORIGINAL TIRES WHICH YOU CAN SEE THE CONDITION WHICH IS ONLY PRE-OWNED A FEW TIMES. IT NEEDS THE REAR MONO SHOCK, AND A FEW SPOKES REPLACED IN THE REAR RIM. I DONT HAVE ANY PAPERWORK BUT I WILL WRITE A BILL OF SALE, ALL MY STUFF GOT DESTROYED WHEN MY HOUSE BURNT TO THE GROUND. 1 LAST THING, ITS MISSING BOTH REAR PLASTICS. OTHER THAN THAT, THE MOTOR IS TITS, THE PLASTICS ARENT ALL SCRATCHED UP AND THE COLOR IS STILL BRIGHT AND NOT FADDED. BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates
Tue, 03 Jan 2012In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.
2013 AMA Supercross Anaheim 2 Race Report
Mon, 21 Jan 2013Ryan Villopoto claimed his first win of the 2013 AMA Supercross season and his first since the knee injury at last year’s Seattle round that kept him out of the 2012 AMA Motocross championship. The victory in front of 37,789 fans at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif., made up for his disappointing 16th place finish two weeks earlier at the same site. His Monster Energy Kawasaki teammate Jake Weimer held the early advantage in the main event, taking the holeshot ahead of the Honda Muscle Milk duo of Justin Barcia and Trey Canard.
2010-2011 Honda Shadow VT750 Recall
Mon, 13 Jun 2011Honda has initiated a recall campaign for certain 2010-2011 Shadow series cruisers due to a problem with their bank angle sensors. According to documents filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the bank angle sensors may incorrectly read that the motorcycle is leaning. The bank sensor uses a weighted pendulum that swings into a motorcycle’s lean.
