Honda XR description

2002 Honda Xr 400R Low Usage. very nice shape. Recently tuned up new oil, oil filter, air filter, and iridium spark plug. Runs great. No problems. Comes with a brand new Pirelli rear tire and aftermarket handlebars, and brand new brake pads.

Flaws- some light scratches and scuffs on plastics, gas tank stickers have some bubbling, and front tire (original) has dry cracking buts hold air fine. ( I have brand new set of tires rims available but not included )

I have clear NY transferable Registration in hand.

I am also selling a street titled 2002 Honda XR 400r Excellent condition, 1995 Honda Xr 250R Great shape, 1996 Honda XR 400R great Shape.

I will ship at buyers expense. I have the right to end auction early due to local sale. I can be reached at 201-264-9211. Thanks Neil

Get On Africa: Blog One

Wed, 06 Apr 2011

It's not every day you get to bomb around a field that was set aside for The Pope but that's exactly what we've done this morning; the first proper day of our Get On Africa adventure. We started the morning at the Riders for Health workshop where the mechanics took us through their setup and maintenance program for their bikes. The celebs ran through the basics of bike maintainance, the mechanic boasted that bikes never come back to the workshop broken, they just come in for scheduled servicing.

As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship  opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment.    I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.

Dan Gurney’s Two-wheeled Terror at IMS

Tue, 09 Dec 2008

When the Gurney Alligator A6 made its debut in 2002, the world saw a glimpse of a new concept in sport motorcycles. Long, low, quick and efficient like its namesake, the ’Gator was like nothing we’d seen before. The bike was the brainchild of Dan Gurney, the legendary F1 and Le Mans winning driver and championship-winning sports car builder.
