Honda XR description

Bike is in good running condition. Starts with one kick in most situations. The fuel petcock needs replaced because it does not fully shut off . The carburetor float valve may need cleaned or replaced. I have the replacement for the front fork dust guard and it will be included with the bike. Oil was changed in early spring this year and the bike has only been ridden twice since then. Side cover bracket was repaired by a previous owner. The front wheel does not hold air and will need a new tube. Selling as is.

Because of the origins and year of manufacture of this bike, there is no known existing title. There is a procedure for obtaining one, however, should the buyer's state of residence require it. Mileage is listed as zero, but is actually unknown since the bike did not come with an odometer when manufactured.

This bike would be great for a beginner. $50 down payment required within 24 hours of auction ending. Pickup within 7 days of auction's end unless previous arrangements are made with the seller.

Today at Intermot 2012, Honda unveiled the CRF450 Rally, the machine it plans to enter in the 2013 Dakar Rally, marking the manufacturer’s return to the race after more than two decades. Honda has competed nine times from 1981 in the forerunner of the present Dakar Rally, the Paris-Dakar Rally. Cyril Neveu of France took Honda to its first victory in 1982, the race’s fourth year, and from 1986 to 1989 Honda won four consecutive titles for an overall record of five victories in nine years. The CRF450 Rally is based on Honda’s commercial CRF450X enduro racing model, and features electronic fuel injection, auxiliary fuel tanks in the panniers and lower side fairings, and the requisite navigation equipment located behind the windscreen.
