Honda XR description

1998 Honda Xr 400r... This is my own bike & I have owned it for 2 years. Very Good Condition & Ready to Ride. Well maintained & taken care of. Taken all apart this past winter & a general maintenance overhaul was performed. Everything was cleaned, greased, tightened, inspected, new parts added, etc. I spend more time looking at it this bike then riding it unfortunately. The bike is solid....reliable, very powerful/tons of torque & as fast as needed. Starts easily, idles effortlessly, excellent braking & very good suspension. There is NO title... that's how I bought it but you can get a lost title for it if you wanted to make it street legal. This was an off-road Bike Only. I bought a brand new Baja Designs headlight ($100/D.O.T. Approved)but there is an electrical part missing (relay maybe, I don't know much about electrical) so I couldn't hook up the light.  **Also, the bike has NO Odometer so I guessed at the Ebay Mileage Field on the left, just so I could get this listed. Ask any questions, thanks.

Tue, 09 Mar 2010

SEE THE MACHINE that could propel Britain to a new motorcycle land speed world record at The Race Retro 2010 show, held at Stoneleigh Park, Coventry from 12th to 14th March. Almost a year has passed since Visordown broke the news of the planned UK assault on the land speed record - this coming August the Angelic Bulldog team travels to Bonneville, where it is hoping to smash the 400mph barrier and bring the motorcycle Land Speed Record back to the UK for the first time since 1937. The current record stands at 360.913mph over a kilometre.
