Honda XR description

1993 Honda xr250l, purchased from original owner. Bike had been sitting since 2008. The bike has never been off-road. Still ridding on the original Yokohama tires. Bike has k&N air filter, fresh oil change with K&N filter. This bike runs and looks excellent. There is one spot of paint missing from the side case, and there is some heat damage to the right side plastic from the muffler. The mileage is correct and the bike is ready to ride. Cal Crutchlow has signed on to race for the LCR Honda team for the 2015 MotoGP season. To make the jump, Crutchlow secured an early termination to his contract with Ducati. The switch comes as a bit of a surprise after Crutchlow had confirmed he would honor the final year of his contract at World Ducati Week.

A new report says riders with ABS-equipped bikes can dramatically reduce the chance of a fatal accident. The study compared fatality rates among riders on bikes that have antilock brakes, and it found that death rates were 38% lower on motorcycles equipped with the optional ABS systems compared to non-ABS bikes. In 2005-2006, the fatal crashes per 10,000 registered motorcycles without antilock brakes was 6.6.
