Honda XR description

1993 Honda xr250l, purchased from original owner. Bike had been sitting since 2008. The bike has never been off-road. Still ridding on the original Yokohama tires. Bike has k&N air filter, fresh oil change with K&N filter. This bike runs and looks excellent. There is one spot of paint missing from the side case, and there is some heat damage to the right side plastic from the muffler. The mileage is correct and the bike is ready to ride. Hopkins to Sit Out 2013 Racing Season to Recover from Injuries

American John Hopkins announced he is taking a sabbatical from racing for 2013 to recover from a number of significant injuries. Hopkins’ once very promising racing career has been hampered by both a series of bad luck and injury. It seems so long ago that Hopkins finished fourth overall in the 2007 MotoGP Championship with Suzuki.

Honda Recalls Small Number of the 2010 NT700 for Incorrect Tire Specs Label

  On October 27, 2011, Honda filed a recall campaign with the NHTSA (campaign ID number: 11V526000) involving the 2010 model-year NT700. The recall is for a swingarm-mounted label that displays incorrect tire size and inflation information. The 120 affected models were manufactured Nov.
